Following the Vancouver Olympics a who’s who of hockey gathered in Toronto for three days to address the sport’s most pressing subjects. With 500 attendees — hockey industry leaders from the NHL, Hockey Canada, International Ice Hockey Federation, Kontinental Hockey Leagure and USA Hockey — congregating at the Air Canada Centre, the summit included numerous events. With a steering committee headed by Bob Nicholson of Oilers Entertainment Group, NHL deputy commissioner Billy Daley and Dave Branch of the Ontario Hockey League, there were live shows on hockey’s hot topics as well as evening activities.
The role of the women behind InMarket in the World Hockey Summit consisted of project management, production and logistics management, and venue management.
